Our Story

Our brand was founded by Minh, owner and lash artist at Sapphire Nail and Beauty salon in Dublin 8. Our lashes first came into existence in 2017, after working full time with lash fibres that did not bring joy to us as a lash artist or comfort for our clients. We dedicated time and finance to sourcing premium lash fibres instead, and Sapphire Silk Lashes was born: classics 0.18, 0.2 and volume 0.07 trays, with curls ranging from C, D, L, M. They were a game changer from artist experience to client satisfaction. Our lash trays are distinctively softer and easier to use compared to other trays around that time. From 2017-2019 as we continue to use and improve our trays, our experience with lash suppliers grew, with many ups and downs. In 2020 we came out with the best trays of our range yet, characterised by our pink plastic trays. However, the growth of our brand was halted due to the impact the pandemic had on our main business, Sapphire Salon. We focused all our efforts and resources into keeping the salon alive and adapting to major changes along the way. The journey of Sapphire Lash Artistry went into hiatus.

Fast forward to 2025, it is our pleasure to come back to our passion in pursuit of great products and to share them with you from our online supply store. As a full time, consistently booked out lash artist in an ever-evolving industry, we are proud to announce a three phase product roll-out, a new generation of lash trays for our fellow lash artist, starting June 2025. 

All our products have been trialed and tested in our salon with returning and new clients loving the feel and retention of our lashes. Our lashes are made from premium synthetic Korean fibres for optimal client comfort as well as artist user experience. All curated with a core belief that the products we use should deepen the love for our craft, making our work easier and more enjoyable.
